“Experience the Power by Getting Your At Home Based Business Online!”

recession-top-home-businessAt home based business owners should be proud of the fact that 54% of the economy in the United States is fueled by their efforts. It seems that we are hearing so much these days about how the huge companies are getting bail-outs, are acting without integrity, are looking out only for themselves instead of their customers…it’s enough to make you mad!

But all those hard working small businesses, just like your own work from home company, just keep “pluggin” away. How? By hiring one person at a time which greatly contributes to getting America back to work. Compared to large corporations, who treat people as numbers, when a small business owner has to lay-off an employee, (whom they know by name), its like losing a member of the family.

Believe it or not, the “experts” are saying the economy has shifted and the recovery is upon us. Some folks, like Zig Ziglar for example, have decided not to join the recession – and a lot of home based small business entrepreneurs continue to employ strategies to keep them viable as well. Some top home based business professionals are actually growing in this difficult economy!

With warm weather in the air and the economy on the mend, it’s time to take stock of where you are and where you want your top home business to be?

Statistics say there are still 13.6 million small businesses that don’t have a website. Of the remaining small businesses that have a website, 75% are not using it in an interactive way to grow their businesses. Basically, small business sites are nothing more than an online brochure with general information about the business; hours of operation, directions, phone number, and an email address.

Here are six great reasons to unleash the marketing power of the Internet for your home based small business which are absolutely true even for those working part-time trying to earn extra money from home!

An interactive web-site is critical for your work from home company if you want to:

  1. Grow your business
  2. Gain more customers
  3. Retain the customers you do have
  4. Build trust and loyalty through relationship marketing
  5. Sell products even when your business is closed
  6. Ultimately increase your bottom line.

In this day and age, if you aren’t “hooked up” on the web – actively promoting your top home based business, you are leaving a ton of money on the table? To not participate in the customizable online promoting opportunities available nowadays, all for free or very little cost, you are opening a huge hole in your at home based business marketing strategy!

I have only recently become more interactive by using a blog and I would now use one for my other business site. Being able to interact with readers and clients is a bit like virtual networking.

However what I do notice is that persistence is required. Twitter for example is something that allows you to build up your business but it happens over time. It also helps if you have a win win and pay it forward attitude too!

    Marion –

How true! Blogging is not only fun, it’s a great way to build relationships with people you might otherwise never interact with!

Social media — and especially blogs is literally changing the way we do business!

    Best,
