North Star At Home Based Business

I love this idea — there are only two problems in life. Don’t you love it!  Only two. And the best part about it is they are very simple problems.

Sometimes budding home based small business professionals try to make things more complicated than they need to be. They want to over-think things.  But here are the only two problems you face that need to be solved before you in position to make money from home.

Problem #1: You know what you want, but you don’t know how to get it.

Problem #2: You don’t know what you want.

See, I told you. Simple — and you can boil every problem in life into one of these two statements.

Of course, since there are only two problems, there should be only two solutions you ever need. Right? So here’s what you need to do with every problem — You need to “Make it up and make it happen”. You’ve got to decide what you want (make it up) and figure out how to get from where you are to where you need to be (make it happen.)

When I heard this simple formula the first time, I though, man, I wish I’d thought of that a long time ago. And the best part about it, is that our brains are uniquely structured to make this whole process easy. It will quickly become second nature as you go about building your top home business or focusing on your ability to earn extra money from home.

The right side of your brain is the creative energy side, it relates to imagining, dreaming, inspiring and it is just waiting for you to ask it to “make it up”.  The left side of the brain relates to logic, linear thinking, details, and planning and is uniquely qualified to “make it happen.”

So let’s go back to our two problems.  If your problem is that you know what you want, but you just don’t know how to get there, you can still go through the “make it up, make it happen” process. If you don’t know how to get there, ask your brain, “If you DID know how to get there, what would it look like?” Invariably, your brain will answer that question for you.

Once you’ve made it up, then you just turn it over to the left side to process the “make it happen” part.

If you’re seriously stuck on a problem at your work from home company and don’t quite know what you want, just let that right brain run with the “make it up” — do not criticize or sensor any of the work going on in your brain now.  Just capture all the great ideas being made up. Once you’ve run out of ideas, then go back through, see which is the best, and turn the left side loose to make it happen.

To let you in on a secret — your mind goes through this process hundreds of times each day? What shall I do with this email, what about this piece of correspondence, where shall we go to lunch — (this is a normal fundamental thought process).  What is the desired outcome? And what is the next step?

Once you bring this “make it up, make it happen” process to the forefront of your thinking, you’ll never get stuck again trying to solve any issue at your top home based business. You will know the conscious questions to ask your mind, and be able to trust its answers.

This is all about thought management. If you can manage your thinking — through direction and control, your at home based business is bound to thrive. So make it up. Make it happen!
